                                                                      Frequently Asked Questions

What is mudjacking?
Mudjacking is an alternative to replacing concrete. Mudjacking or concrete leveling/raising can usually be done for less than half the cost of pouring new concrete. Most mudjacking projects can be completed quickly and efficiently with minimal disruption, and can be ready for use in the same or next day.  Mudjacking deals with stabilizing soil conditions without the process of tearing out and replacing good concrete.

What can be mudjacked?
Majority of concrete can be mudjacked including: sidewalks, driveways, patios, pool decks, garage floors, and stairs/stoops.

What is void filling?
Void filling is performed by pumping our grout mixture through a hose or nozzle to fill in empty areas under the slabs left by erosion or animal habitation.

How long before repaired areas can be used?
Slabs can be walked on as soon as work has been completed in most cases. When driveways or garage floors are raised, we recommend a 24 hour waiting period before vehicles are driven on them.

Will I notice the patched holes?
The holes will be noticeable at first but will age, weather and blend in over time.

Is there a charge for an estimate?
No, all estimates are free of charge.

Do I need to be home when work is performed?
No, as long as the work is on the exterior. All that we request is access to an outside water spigot for cleanup after the job is completed.
